The People Behind the Platform

The Operators
Who Built Consource

We're not former MBB consultants who decided to disrupt themselves. We're a buyer who spent years measuring whether suppliers were laying pipes correctly, a consultant who watched clients overpay for advice, and an engineer who has been quietly making it all work since 2014. Dual perspective. One platform.

Daniel Sigrist

Daniel Sigrist

Director of Operations

Employee #1 since 2014, when the entire company was a room next to a garage. We eventually moved back to France. Daniel stayed in the US. We crossed an Atlantic. He did not move an inch. Unclear who made the better call.

Daniel has been building and running Consource's infrastructure since before it had a name. With a background at Telefónica, he joined as employee #1 and has been the quiet force keeping the platform running across four offices and two continents ever since.

Hélène Laffitte

Hélène Laffitte

CEO

Industrial strategist turned consulting procurement specialist. Hélène led supplier performance at Engie — tracking construction firms across infrastructure projects — before founding Consulting Quest to bring that same rigour to the consulting industry. She built the method, the company, and eventually the tool.

Started her career measuring whether construction companies were laying pipes correctly. Now measures whether consulting firms are delivering value. Turns out the metrics are surprisingly similar.

Laurent Thomas

Laurent Thomas

Chief Technology Officer

Strategy

Laurent spent years on opposite sides of the consulting equation: as VP Strategy and VP Oil & Gas Market at Solvay, he was the client — selecting, briefing, and evaluating firms. At Oliver Wyman, he was the consultant. That rare dual perspective is exactly what went into Consource's architecture.

Built by People
Who've Been There

We didn't build Consource to disrupt an industry we'd never worked in. We built it because we spent years on both sides of the consulting table and kept having the same conversation: why is this still so hard? Turns out the answer was not another layer of PowerPoint optimism, but a platform shaped by 12+ years of Consulting Quest methodology and the practical instincts of people who have had to justify budgets, challenge suppliers, and make the whole thing function in real life.

Built from Real Buyer Problems

Consource did not begin as a theory. It began with the repetitive, expensive absurdity of buying consulting through scattered emails, weak comparisons, and institutional guesswork.

Method Before Software

The platform is built on more than a decade of Consulting Quest methodology: how to scope demand, compare firms properly, challenge pricing, and track value after signature.

Rigour Without Theatre

We prefer evidence to slogans, structure to improvisation, and measurable outcomes to the kind of optimism that usually appears five minutes before a budget overrun.

Built With Clients, Not At Them

Consource is designed to work with procurement, finance, legal, IT, and budget owners as they are — not as software demos like to imagine they behave.

Let's Connect

Ready to Change the Game?

We're building something we genuinely believe procurement has needed for years. If you're passionate about making consulting work better — as a buyer, a supplier, or someone who just really likes well-organised spreadsheets — let's talk.

Plot twist:

We're always open to amazing talent, even if there's no official opening. Princeton, Ramsgate, Singapore, Paris — or remotely from a garage in New Jersey.
